KEY FEATURES ============================= Keep track of your baby’s mental development Learn all about the leaps and bounds and the fussy phases of your baby Read the bestselling Wonder Weeks book here in this app Take notes about a range of topics Think of it as a portable, at-a-glance version of the calendar leap chart in The Wonder Weeks. Where the book describes in-depth and easy-to-understand terms the incredible developmental changes your baby goes through, the app is the perfect leap calendar companion to track your baby’s mental development (during the first 20 months).
By knowing what is going on inside the head of your baby, you can help him to make the leap more easily and stimulate his development. The Wonder Weeks app helps new parents by:

 - Calendar Showing when your baby makes a leap in his mental development
 - What your baby can understand & learn after this mental leap
 - What your baby can do after this leap
 - What you can do to help your baby

This app is also a handy reminder for new parents when their baby’s brain is changing, or “leaping,” the baby is making a significant advance in mental development, and with each step forward comes a drastic change in the way your baby sees the world around him. Because these leaps come so quickly, the “new world” and new abilities can sometimes be scary, and the development can initially manifest in poor sleep, bad appetite, crying, clinging and crankiness – exhausting and frustrating mom and dad.
International experts on The Wonder Weeks:
“This is a very practical and entertaining window into the baby’s first year and a half. van de Rijt and Plooij have observed and found the vulnerable times in an infant’s development that I independently came to in my book Touchpoints (Perseus Books Group). The authors’ observations and practical suggestions are wonderful.”
-T. Berry Brazelton, M.D., professor emeritus, Harvard Medical School

"Anyone who deals with infants and young children will want to read The Wonder Weeks. This book will open parents' eyes to aspects of their children's growth, development, changing behavior, and emotional responsiveness that they might otherwise not notice or find puzzling and distressing."
-Catherine Snow, Ph.D., Shattuck Professor of Education, Harvard Graduate School of Education

The best (5/5)
This app is wonderful! Whenever my baby is fussy it usually always correlates to a developmental leap. It’s been incredibly helpful seeing what she is going through and when, in order to better relate and hell her developmentally. I tell so many people about this app! - Usersssss122134

Shouldn’t have to pay for info you can find through google! (1/5)
There are literally only 9 leaps on here. AKA 9 paragraphs of info about the baby. That’s it!!! The info isn’t bad but I literally could have found this info on google if I just researched it on my own. I always thought spending money on apps was dumb- never did it until this app- now I totally regret it. And on top of that it’s kind of expensive for an app! 2.99?! Anyway, I regret it and it’s not worth it. Also the “storms” calendar doesn’t line up with my baby at all. - Toots Kiss

Good but inaccurate with due date (3/5)
Good info but I put in the due date and it was a week off. He’s already going through the leap it’s saying. So I put in his birthday and it’s accurate now... I think it’s more accurate with bdays not due dates - kahfydue

Don’t buy into this crap (1/5)
Maybe this app works for newborns or smaller infants, but once your baby starts teething/develops separation anxiety, all bets are off. There is no one size fits all app that will tell you what’s going on with your babe, he/she is an individual and will develop and hit milestones at their own pace. - lmr2018

So helpful! (5/5)
This app (as well as the book) has been so helpful for us. When my baby is extra fussy, I now know that he is on the verge of a mental leap, and it’s been crazy how accurate this has been. I highly recommend this app, plus I’d also recommend the book as well. - Honeybee682

Brilliant app with deep insight into baby (5/5)
This is my second child, but first child on the app. I absolutely find this app to be essential in tracking my child’s development. If you’re looking for a deeper understanding into the inner workings of your baby’s development, this app definitely provides everything you need to know. User friendly and engaging, the Wonder Weeks app makes tracking your baby a breeze! - holly.van.horn

Love it! (5/5)
I loved this app with my first, now we just had our second and I’ve redownloaded it! It may not have the exact dates correct, but they are within days of each other. Very helpful for when you can’t quite figure out why your baby is so fussy! 🤗 - Walecky

Not accurate (1/5)
I did what the app said to do by going off my daughters due date and not her birth date...well it’s extremely inaccurate. She’s 5 months old and it hasn’t accurately lined up once. She’s fussy in the “sunny” periods and and easy going during the stormy periods. I’m not sure right now whether she’s going through the 4th or 5th leap because it’s been so off. I was really hoping this app would be helpful, but it’s not at all if it doesn’t line up. All babies are so different so I guess it was wishful thinking that this could predict my daughters sunny and stormy periods. - K_Nunley

Love this app (5/5)
Wonder weeks has helped us communicate and understand our little one so much better. - 89303

Unorganized (4/5)
I LOVE the information this app provides but the layout isn’t very organized. - talm111

Not much content (2/5)
Although the info is relevant and interesting, it’s pretty much the same bit of info for weeks on end. Once you end a leap period you get info for the next upcoming period and you can read it all in one sitting easily...and it doesn’t change until the end of the next leap. So in theory it’s nice to see what your baby is going through but it doesn’t give you anything new daily or even weekly. My baby is in her 5th leap right now so for 7 weeks I’m seeing the same blurb. - Elle124444

Helpful to keep you sane during leaps (5/5)
I’ve now used this app for two children and it has been spot on. It prepares me so I can expect a crabbier child. Takes some of the guess work out of raising babies. The only negative I have is they stop at leap 10! I know kids go past but they just don’t offer that information. We’re currently on Leap 10 with my second child so after I will not be needing it anymore but I recommend it to any new mom! - ShimmyShammy88

Must have app (5/5)
I have found the app to be Truly informative and interesting. Thought it was interesting that you put in the due date instead of the birthdate because development starts from conception. Of course it would!!! - cheeky Mam

Great for tracking and understanding baby’s development (5/5)
This app has been great in helping to understand what changes my son is going through along with how to help him. The advice on how I can cope with the three c’s is very encouraging. - stefsldavis

Stupid (1/5)
This is the most stupidest thing I have ever heard of. It’s growth spurts not leaps. Leaps just sounds odd. I guess I’m old school but I want a refund as I thought I would get more out of this app than learning what a leap was. It’s a dang growth spurt so nothing new - RASOmom

A God Send (5/5)
As a first time parent I was unsure as to what to expect. This app guided me and was a reassuring reminder t the cranky phases wouldn’t last forever. Really helpful to understand your baby. 👍🏻🙂 - Jojy K

Saving grace! (5/5)
Someone told me about this just before (or maybe slightly after) my daughter was born. Now we use it with my son. It’s been saving for me!! I don’t get frustrated because I know what’s happening. Thank you for making this app!! - Mdunc7

Love reading about our baby (5/5)
I have loved this app and reading it with my wife as we learn about our littles and her development. - WDM86

I’m so mad I bought this app, worthless! (1/5)
All of the timing of cranky and fussiness is wrong, my son is going through his leaps before it even says so, it doesn’t let you document anything important, its so bad that even it should be free.. It’s truly worthless. - Alizajs

More $$ for same information (1/5)
I have used this app for all three of my children. Now on my third baby and find they have put the leap summaries behind a paywall. You have access to the information about the previous leap and the future leap, but to not be able to look back fully since all skills aren’t gained at once and to pay $6 on top of the $3 fee I have already paid, meh, I will just google the information. Can no longer recommend this app. - MTailia

Helps me stay calm (5/5)
When baby isn’t happy or seems to be changing this app helps me to remember yes she is changing and to give her comfort through the transitions. Thanks! - Sabi3

Spot on! (5/5)
A friend recommended this app to me and I’m so glad she did! It is so accurate for my daughter and helps me navigate her milestones and fussy phases so I can be more prepared for what’s to come! I love it! - ReganY

Wonder Weeks is the BEST (5/5)
So helpful and informative. I love to see what my LO is experiencing and the tips are very helpful! - Katelyn279

Wonderful (5/5)
It is nice to have some idea why my baby girl is being fussy. To have a little insight on her development both physically and mentally is wonderful. - jlorrainel

Worst app ever!!!! (1/5)
Worst app I’ve ever bought. It’s completely false full of fake information written off a fake timeline. It creates more things for parents to obsess over that aren’t necessary. Save your money and let your baby grow without rushing them along or creating a fake leap to explain why a baby is cranky. - SierraStrohm

Life Saver! (5/5)
This app is just as amazing as the book. They both help you gain valuable insight as to what’s going on with your peanut and tracks it so you don’t have to. I used it with my son and now with my daughter. Highly recommend. - Pez0849

Great app (5/5)
Very helpful for knowing ahead of time when baby is going to be acting different. - KPaskett

Extremely Helpful (5/5)
It’s so crazy how accurate this app is! I got to week 5 with my baby & she’s been super fussy & I didn’t know what was wrong. So I decided to download this app that my cousin recommended and it described exactly what my baby is going through!! It was very reassuring to see how long this “stormy” period will last. I highly suggest downloading this app. - 55524712

Family sharing (3/5)
Hi, I tried writing this in the support page in the app but it didn’t work. How can I set up family sharing? Thank you! - Yevi1609

This app helped keep me sane during fussy periods! (5/5)
The timing of the leaps has been pretty accurate with my 3 m/o daughter and has been a lifesaving. Knowing that the fussiness, clinginess, etc was probably due to a leap helped keep me calm during the tough times. And knowing it wouldn’t last forever was invaluable. I would definitely recommend this app to all parents (especially new parents, like myself)! - Jegros04

If you have a a new baby, you need this app! (5/5)
This app is spot on every time my child enter a new leap. This app allows me to have a better understanding what is going with my child and what he’s struggling with or what he’s going to learn to do next! I as a new mom can cope with how my child is doing and take a step back and help my child get through this leap, without feeling frustrated or stressed out when comes to my child and he’s leaps and the many moods he has. - Jmiller123

Predictable! (5/5)
Accurate and precise with my 9 week olds leap. Totally worth the purchase! - Carley_R_C

Spot on!! (5/5)
I love the wonder weeks! It had been spot on about the stormy times and why and the times the sun is out!! We absolutely love and rely on this app!!!! - Newjerseymare

For mommy/daddy nerds only! (5/5)
Hands down best baby app if you’re interested in the real reasons behind fussy stages. - Animarg

Crock of S*** (1/5)
This app just makes me crazy. It absolutely makes no sense. The timeline never matches up with either of my babies. It just makes parents feel inadequate and not trust their own gut. Pseudoscience is all it is. - Sara81216

Best app (5/5)
This is by far the best app! A must if you have a baby! The weeks when the baby is taking leaps are right on and the helpful tips when they are going threw a leap! I love how you can have more then one baby on there at a time as well! Best 3 dollars I have ever spent! - Drey Reynolds

Won’t update (2/5)
There is a new version that wants you to pay more money and now this app will not update. Not happy at all. I paid for an app that won’t work now. - my2pirates

Don’t bother - read book instead (2/5)
App is full of summaries - not worth $3 in my option. Let the full book instead. - mama_dre

Confusing and poorly written. (2/5)
I regret spending money on it. I think that if the developers spent more time making it more user friendly, and also not having these giant chunks of information rather than having easier to read, short paragraphs, it would be greatly improved . - Rachelle D5000

Was awesome until recent update (1/5)
Like most other reviews, I LOVED this app until the last update which requires you to pay for full summaries. These full summaries used to be included with the price of the app; however, now the developers seemed to change it to find ways to make more money by asking you to buy the ebook or audiobook for the full summary. I used to give it 5 stars, but now I want my money back after this change. :( Update - the developers have replied to my request denying any changes occurred even after I provided them evidence of paid content previously being removed. Poor customer service. - Rockywind14

An Essential Baby App (5/5)
Especially when the child is your first, like ours, this little app is like having a pocket manual for your baby. It is especially useful when little one becomes inexplicably fussier. Why? Well, according to the Wonder Weeks (which is based on evidence-based medical science), this is usually because your child is going through one of the many ‘leaps’ of childhood. The app was incredibly accurate in predicting when (indicated by a rain cloud icon) our sweet one suddenly because much more sour. Knowing this was itself helpful since parents armed with this knowledge can fortify their emotional defenses in preparation. While some baby apps are fun - but do little in the way of informing parents - The Wonder Weeks stands out as the rare outlier which both satisfies our curiosity while respecting that our time for doing so is quite limited after baby’s arrival. I highly recommend it. - Rater4

Not worth it (1/5)
The only thing you will use in this app is the calendar and you can make one yourself if you really want to. The home page information is confusing because it tells you briefly about the upcoming leap but somehow by the end of the blurb you realize it’s talking about the last leap. You have to go into the “all leaps” section each time to read about the one that’s coming but even that is annoying because they are labeled by the number of weeks your kid will be at he end of it. I just want to read about the 5th leap not the Leap of the 26th week. Besides my kid is not going through these on time anyway so it’s not even relevant. Oh yeah and the videos don’t work. - LS763

Hidden Costs (3/5)
You buy the app for the information but then have to buy the chapters too. Same the money - and just buy the book if interested. Kind of an expensive app for additional purchases. There is some interesting information but I’d rather put my $2.99 towards a fuller information source. - Moostng

Makes parenting so much easier! (5/5)
It’s so much easier for me to handle my fussy baby when I know why he’s fussy. There’s not always a lot that I can do about it, but it gives me a little added patience knowing he’s going through a huge chunk of development and that’s the reason for his behavior. I can’t say enough good things about this app! - Erin Coster

Good App, pointless if reading the book (3/5)
The app itself is pretty good, but it lacked a lot of information. I found that I don’t use it and don’t get any new info out of it since I have the book. If I didn’t have the book the app would be fine. I wish the info in the app was either additional info to the book or more practical. I feel like I wasted my money on the app. - princesskiersten

Don’t get this app (1/5)
This app is very generic. I would like more information about the phases. But then again every child is so different and subject to variable behaviors depending on teeth, illness, etc. I regret buying it. - mom osebest

Spot on! (5/5)
This app helps SO MUCH when your baby is growing! They have tips and tricks and tell you when the stormy periods are coming. It helps me have a better understanding of what my baby needs. - Starlett06

SO helpful (5/5)
This is 1000% worth it. Helping us understand better what our littles ones need and love on them! - one huge fan

LOVE! (5/5)
I am so glad I got this app. This is my first baby and I have no idea what to expect and what is normal. This app prepares me and gives me so much information on what to expect before it happens so that I can understand my baby and care for her appropriately according to what she’s feeling. I love it! It definitely helps me feel like a better mama! - Dj8710563

Best app ever (5/5)
All parents need this app!! It helps you navigate through the fussy times & makes you really understand what’s going on with your little one. Love this app, 100000% recommend for everyone! - Jesolgat
